Reallocating funds in an existing award or obtaining additional time to complete the project is usually possible if the process is started sufficiently prior to the termination date of the grant and if there is a reasonable justification. However, sponsoring agencies have different restrictions. Typically the State and Private agencies are even stricter than the Federal agencies. Refer to your summary sheet or contact ORAA or the sponsor for additional information. Contact Manager of Budget & Finance to assist you in developing the revised budget. Please complete the standard form explaining and justifying the need for additional time and/or budget changes. Please send your completed form to the Budget and Finance Office for review and they will obtain the directors signature and forward to ORAA to process.
